Mommy Monday: Weekend Mom!

Mommy had an amazing weekend with her birthday sister.  My sister and I have shared a birthday since she arrived in my life 28 years ago.  This year was something totally different than I think either of us has ever had.  We met on Friday night at JoAnne's Fabric to taking a sewing class.  I can say we didn't really learn anything we didn't already know but we had a good time.  We then went to dinner since we were both starving.

Saturday was a day of prepping and pampering.  We started the day with some amazing pancakes.  I had chocolate-chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries and bananas, if you knew before this princess started growing in you would know that I am not a big breakfast person.  I will admit that in the last couple of weeks I have probably eaten more pancakes than I have eaten in my entire life.  We then moved on to Babies R Us and registered for the little princess.  It was a lot faster than I think either of us expected but I think we got everything we could scan.  Things got really good after that...Mom treated us to a massage and facial.  It was extremely amazing and relaxing.  It also gave us the strength to hit Target and get another registry completed.  Target wasn't as fun as Babies R Us but we still had a good time.  We did some clothing shopping so Mommy would have work clothes.  After getting the shopping done we went to dinner and then hit the sack early.  Sunday was a quick trip for more pancakes and then a pedicure.

Mommy and the princess headed home to Daddy.  We had some dinner and then Mommy got her hair cut.  We chopped off about 2-3 inches.  I had hoped it wouldn't cause more work for me in the morning and this morning it was better than the pony tail.

It was an action packed weekend and we went back to work this morning.  I am hoping there are pictures this week of the many things we have going on.  I am hoping to be able to post pictures of our house/home before the end of the week.
